Uganda’s PR fraternity gear up for annual awards

July 24—The Public Relations Association of Uganda (PRAU) is set to launch the 2017 PRAU Excellence Awards this week on Wednesday 26^th July, 2017.

Cynthia Mpanga, the President of PRAU Governing Council will unveil the theme for this year’s awards, the official dates for the entry submissions as well as the official date and venue for the award ceremony.

The PRAU Excellence Awards celebrates the greatest achievements across the public relations and communications industry in Uganda.

The awards this year will be the seventh (7th) edition since they were launched. The 6^th PRAU Excellence Awards last year were held on Friday 25th November 2016 under the theme ‘PR Excellence in a Competitive & Digital World’. They focused on the impact of increased competition as a result of the rise and proliferation of digital media in the PR industry.
