Buganda Television gets a berth on DStv
Kampala, APRIL 11 –The Buganda kingdom’s latest broadcasting venture, BBS Tv has struck a deal under which its content will be carried on MultiChoice Africa’s DStv and GOtv platforms starting today.
256 Business News has learned that BBS Tv that will officially launch tomorrow on the eve of Kabaka Ronald Mutebi’s 61st birthday has already been allocated space on the two popular platforms although information about specific channels was not immediately available.
BBS Tv promises quality local and international programming that includes news, current affairs, entertainment and sports in crystal clear digital quality. Although close to 30 local channels are available on GOtv, BBS Tv becomes only eighth and sixth local channel to be contractually carried on GOtv and DStv respectively with the rest piggybacking courtesy of SIGNET’s link to the MultiChoice platforms.
