UNOC Board announces Wapakabulo Appointment
KAMPALA, JUNE 1 –
Uganda National Oil Company Board Chair Emmanuel Katongole has announced the appointment of Dr. Josephine Wapakabulo as the Ceo of the UNOC.
The appointment takes effect August 1, Katongole says in a press release that confirms the news first broken by 256 Business News on May 26. “Dr. Wapakabulo will lead the set up of UNOC and manage its transformation into a world class oil and gas company as the country prepares for commercial oil production,” Katongole’s statement reads in part.
“The UNOC Board of Directors is confident that Dr.Wapakabulo brings experience, energy, drive and enthusiasm to the National Oil Company,” the statement concludes.
