Tony Okao Otoa appointed to head Stanbic Enterprise
August 2, 2018—Stanbic Bank Uganda has appointed Tony Okao Otoa (pictured) Head Enterprise Development at the recently opened Stanbic Business Incubator located on the outskirts of Kampala city centre.
He will be in charge of delivering the bank’s enterprise development agenda, creation of market opportunities for business customers; management and implementation of programmes for the development of the Stanbic Business Incubator.
The business incubator runs capacity building and entrepreneurship development programs for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). It supports and nurtures SMEs to prepare for and harness business and growth opportunities that ensure long term sustainability.
With over 10 years of high level management experience, Otoa previously worked with some of the leading companies and organisations in and out of Uganda including, Oxfam GB, Monitor Publications, ACODE and most recently Total E&P where he was the National Content Manager.
He is also an advisor to the Uganda Chamber of Mines and Petroleum Board. Otoa holds a (BSc) in International relations and a Masters in Law (LLM) both from Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom.
