February 28—Stanbic Bank Uganda, the country’s largest by assets and branch network, has appointed Barbara Kasekende (pictured) to the position of Corporate Social Investment (CSI) Manager.

According to an SBU statement, she will be responsible for implementation of the bank’s CSI agenda which focuses on delivering strategic long term support for Early Childhood, Primary, Secondary and Tertiary education initiatives across the country.

Prior to her new appointment, she worked as a Private Banker in charge of Customer Relations. With over 10 years of senior management experience in customer relations, marketing and PR, Kasekende has worked in a variety of corporate positions with leading multinational brands both in the United States and Uganda.

SBU has one of the most extensive CSI programmes among Uganda’s leading corporate enterprises.
