Radisson to open second property in Kigali
KIGALI, APRIL 22 – The Carlson Rezidor group is set to announce the opening of the Radisson Park Inn, a four star property in Kigali that will complement the Radisson Blue that opened last year.
Although no definite date is indicated for the May opening, the property located in Kigali’s Kiyovu suburb has already began selling with early bird discounts as high 20 percent. 256BN understands that unlike its sister property, rooms at the Park Inn begin as low as $176 breakfast inclusive.
The Park in comes as the third property the group will be launching East Africa this year with the opening of the Park Inn in Nairobi this month and the impending start of operations by the Pearl of Africa Hotel in Kampala.
The Kampala property has been branded under the group’s luxury Quorvus Collection. It will have 296 rooms while the Kigali Park Inn will have 161 rooms divided into 123 standard rooms, 34 superior rooms and 4 one bedroom suites.
