Tomorrow friday MENGO SS is organising a MDD.
Mengo Secondary School parents are already paying high school fees to support both academics and co-curricular activities like Music, Dance, and Drama (MDD).

But now:
You pay fees
Your child performs
Then YOU pay UGX 30,000 to watch your own child.
And students pay UGX 10,000 to watch fellow students compete in cirruclum activities.
Pay to learn… then pay to witness the learning.

So the question is simple:

Are schools educating… or creating opportunities for teachers to earn through un regulated activities?

In government-aided schools, this is not just unfair it’s premium-level double charging watching your own child perform.

This is not facilitation.
This is monetization with a school badge.

We demand:
Immediate intervention by the Ministry
Clear regulation on school event charges
Accountability in all government-aided schools
Education is not a pay-per-view service .

And of course, special thanks to the church and the Government of Uganda for ensuring that parents of Mengo Senior School can silently suffer in full HD.
