DStv slashes prices for Zapper decoder
July 3—DStv Uganda, the country’s leading pay-television provider, has rolled out a new offer for subscribers who want to enjoy the hardware for its DStv Zapper decoder.
From July 1st, DStv subscribers can buy a full Zapper decoder kit at a discount price of UGX 132,500 down from the current UGX 168,000.
Sales manager, Herbert Walugembe said, “Due to the demanding economic times, DStv has massively reduced the price of the Zapper decoder to enable our potential customers access our products. We believe this recent development will give our subscribers access to our world class unrivaled quality content that’s facilitated with advanced technology as we continuously endeavour to deliver high quality products and services for our customers.”
The offer is available at all MultiChoice service centres and agents. “Whoever buys a decoder during this time will automatically enjoy two months free on the Access bouquet,this will give our customers opportunity to enjoy DStv experience as they look to upgrade to our other bouquets,” Walugembe said.
Phoebe Nakabazzi, DStv Marketing Manager said, “With the countdown to the soccer season, customers can get ready for an exciting period where SuperSport, your ‘World of Champion’s will be broadcasting all the matches live and in glorious HD.”
“Over 800 matches will be shown on various channels on SuperSport. This is our way of ensuring as many customers as possible get access to the best entertainment while at the same time honouring our commitment to provide quality content and programming. In addition to the Access bouquet, subscribers have a variety of bouquets to choose from including Family, Compact, Compact Plus and Premium bouquets,” she said.
During the promotion, DStv will also have weekly regional storms to conduct raffle draws that will see its subscribers walk away with different prizes.
