Soroti Power Station goes live
Uganda’s first grid connected solar power station, a 10Mw facility by Access Power went live on December 12, bringing a frenetic nine months of construction to a successful conclusion. The power generated from the plant, described as a critical gap-filler by energy officials, allows access to electricity by an additional 40,000 people in the environs of Soroti.
