Breathtaking Uganda Packages December Zanzibar Escape for Ugandan Travellers
Breathtaking Uganda is targeting December holidaymakers with a five-day Zanzibar package combining flights, accommodation, half-board meals and activities.
Ugandan travel company Breathtaking Uganda is taking aim at the December holiday market with a five-day, four-night Zanzibar package that bundles air travel, accommodation, meals and tourist activities into a single product. The December Escape to Zanzibar will run from Friday, December 11 to Tuesday, December 15, 2026, with the company offering 25 slots for the trip.
The package costs UGX4.2 million per person, UGX8 million per couple and UGX3.5 million for a child aged two to 12 years sharing a room with parents. Travellers can secure a place with a USD300 deposit, according to the package details.
The offering includes return air tickets, accommodation, half-board meals and all the activities included in the itinerary, effectively allowing customers to pay for most of the major components of their holiday through one travel provider.
The package reflects Breathtaking Uganda’s strategy of designing curated travel experiences rather than simply selling individual travel services. The company describes itself as a travel design business offering customised itineraries and packaged experiences for individuals, families and groups.
For the Zanzibar trip, the itinerary combines cultural tourism, marine activities and leisure. Travellers will visit Stone Town for a historical tour, head to Mnemba Island for a swimming experience with dolphins and visit Nungwi Aquarium for swimming with sea turtles. The programme also includes a four-hour sunset dhow cruise on the Indian Ocean and a half-day visit to Le St Tropez beach club. Accommodation is split between two nights at Malika Nungwi Hotel and two nights at a Jambiani beach hotel, with breakfast and dinner included.
The package’s pricing structure gives Breathtaking Uganda different entry points for individuals, couples and families, widening the potential customer base for the December holiday period. The company has previously packaged Zanzibar as a destination for Ugandan travellers, including an Easter 2026 offering priced at UGX4.5 million per person. Its website also lists air-ticketing, itinerary planning and travel design among its core services.
The December offering comes as travel companies increasingly seek to capture outbound tourism demand by combining transport, accommodation and experiences into pre-arranged itineraries.
For consumers, the model offers convenience by reducing the need to separately arrange flights, hotels, excursions and other components of a holiday. For the operator, it creates an integrated product that can be marketed at a fixed price and planned around a defined group size.
Breathtaking Uganda says its one-stop approach covers services including flight bookings, hotel reservations, tour packages and transportation arrangements, while its travel design service allows itineraries to be tailored to customer preferences and budgets.
The company’s December Zanzibar package also demonstrates the commercial potential of experience-led tourism, where the value proposition extends beyond getting a traveller to a destination.
By combining air tickets with accommodation, meals and a sequence of curated experiences, Breathtaking Uganda is effectively selling a complete holiday rather than individual travel components.
The company has also been developing packaged domestic tourism products. In September, it is coordinating travel packages for the UWA Open Park Days, covering transport, accommodation, meals and group experiences for travellers visiting selected Ugandan protected areas.
The Zanzibar programme fits into a broader business model built around organised group travel and curated experiences.
For the December trip, the 25-slot limit also gives the operator a defined group size around which it can organise flights, hotel rooms and excursions, while creating an incentive for early booking.
With the festive season traditionally generating increased demand for leisure travel, the Zanzibar package offers Breathtaking Uganda an opportunity to convert that seasonal demand into a structured, pre-paid travel product.
The company says interested travellers can reserve their slots through its booking contacts, with the package available for the December 11–15 trip.
