Kasi Insight, Capital One Group launch ESG survey on Uganda’s business sustainability
Decision intelligence platform Kasi Insight, and communications and PR firm Capital One Group, have teamed up to launch a nationwide survey on how organizations in Uganda are integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices into their strategies.
The survey will capture the challenges companies face, their future priorities, and the role ESG can play in building a sustainable framework to guide businesses and policymakers.
The initiative builds on Capital One Group’s growing involvement in advancing ESG in Uganda, most recently through the inaugural 2025 ESG Summit held in June. That event convened corporate leaders and professionals for expert-led masterclasses, the release of Uganda’s 2025 ESG Research Report, and strategies for sustainable business transformation.
“With ESG regulations evolving rapidly across Africa and globally, companies that fail to embed these practices in their integrated strategies put their businesses at significant risk,” said Ernest Ssekisonge, Managing Director of Kasi Insight, and Paul Mwirigi Muriungi, Managing Director and Head of Strategy at Capital One Group, in a joint statement.
They added that the new survey is designed to “give Ugandan businesses the knowledge and insights they need to address sustainability challenges, seize opportunities, and drive shared value creation for society and the economy.”
The survey findings will be unveiled at an awards ceremony on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, and are expected to provide practical guidance to foster greater ESG adoption and contribute to Uganda’s sustainable development goals.
Kasi Insight, which is taking the technical lead on the project, specializes in real-time, aggregated primary data across 21+ African markets. By equipping decision-makers with actionable intelligence, the firm aims to help organizations navigate regulatory change, enhance trust, and integrate sustainability into long-term business value creation.
