MultiChoice gives Ugandan viewers bonus during October

October 10, 2018— Aside from celebrating the 56th independence anniversary, October has major significance for Ugandans but this year it will also mark the date when all DStv subscribers from access and GOtv subscribers on GOtv Value and GOtv Plus get a full month’s access to the newly launched authentic Ugandan channel Pearl Magic.

“We have dubbed this offer as our independence bonanza owing to the fact that Independence signifies and beacons patriotism and hope to our beautiful nation. The Pearl Magic channel was launched to celebrate and highlight our Ugandanness through film and television and we felt that there was no better way than opening up our Ugandan channel to our access, Value and Plus subscribers until November 9, 2018 and no extra cost,” Albert Nga, Marketing Manager MultiChoice Uganda said on Monday.

Pearl Magic Channel is available on channel 161 to DStv subscribers on family to premium and on GOtv Max on channel 304. However from October 9th to November 9th 2018, DStv access and GOtv Plus and Value subscribers will also watch the channel. Active DStv subscribers can also access the channel using the DStv Now app anytime, anywhere on their mobile phones or tablets.
